RENTAL AGREEMENT

Turnquest Car Rentals hereby leases our vehicles to the undersigned renter, upon the terms set out. The renter agrees to use the vehicle solely for personal transportation use, and is prohibited from loaning or subletting said vehicle. The renter further agrees to indemnify the owner for any and all costs of any damages to the vehicle. The renter must be a licensed driver of twenty-five (25) years and older and must have a driver's license for more than two (2) years. An additional driver is thirty dollars ($30) per day. 

RENTAL PAYMENT & DEPOSIT

Full rental payment is required before or upon retrieving the vehicle. We also require a two hundred dollar ($200) deposit for all vehicle rentals. We will refund you the full deposit at the end of your rental contract once there are no damages done to the vehicle. 

RETURN POLICY

Renter must return vehicle with same amount of fuel given, otherwise will have to pay the cost of fuel.  Renter should return vehicle in same condition given, otherwise will pay the cost of any damages on vehicle.

RETURN TIME

Renter must return vehicle on or before the expired time and date stated on the contract.  Renter has one (1) hour grace period.  Two hours after your grace period will be considered as an additional day added to your bill.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

All reservations must be cancelled within 14 days prior to your arrival in order to be refunded. A $100 cancellation fee will be deducted from your payment at cancellation. The balance of your payment will be reimbursed to your credit card within 5-7 days.

AIRPORTS ON THE ISLAND OF ELEUTHERA

There are 3 airports on the island of Eleuthera. If you will be arriving through the main airport, Governor’s Harbour, there will be a $30.00 charge for pickup and delivery of your rental vehicle. If you fly in to the North Eleuthera there is a $80 charge and Rock Sound it is a $70 charge. 

CAR INSURANCE

All rental vehicles are covered with Third party insurance coverage. If you have a credit card that includes additional car rental insurance, it will be an additional benefit to use that credit card when paying for your rental. We provide the convenience of online payment via PayPal which accepts all major credit and debit cards EXCEPT AMEX (American Express).

CAR FUELING  

Please be sure to leave the amount of gas in the vehicle as when it was delivered to you.

DRIVE ON THE LEFT SIDE

We drive on the LEFT side of the road in the Bahamas. There is very little traffic on the road, but the roads are very curvy and hilly. Ensure that you are always driving on the left side and do not try to overtake a vehicle if you cannot see around a corner or over a hill.

PAYMENT PLAN/AGREEMENT 

Our ideal method of payment is via credit card when making your online reservation. An additional benefit of using a credit card for payment is that several major credit cards offer rental car insurance coverage which is great to supplement with the Third-Party coverage that we offer, which is included in your rental car cost. Our payments are handled easily and securely via PayPal. PayPal ensures the security of the payment for both parties. You DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to make a payment. If you would like to use cash, you can make a 50% deposit online and make the balance of payment in cash when you arrive at the airport. 

DRIVERS LICENSE

All drivers must have a valid driver’s license. All drivers MUST be age 25 and older to be covered by insurance.

VEHICLE ALTERNATIVES 

We reserve the right to substitute a comparable vehicle for the vehicle rented, if that vehicle is unavailable due to maintenance needs.

DAMAGES TO VEHICLES 

The client will be charged if the vehicle is returned with any issues, as well as loss revenue for time of repairs.

BAGGAGE CAR 

If you are traveling as a large family, we offer rental of an additional car to serve as a luggage vehicle on your day of arrival and departure for a onetime fee of $75.
